Hundreds of folks trying to escape the cold headed to the Blair County Convention Center on Saturday for the Altoona’s Wine Spirits ‘n TacoPalooza Fest.
The event featured more than a dozen local wineries and distilleries. People could sample wine, spirits and cider.
They also could purchase tacos and listen to music.
“They’re walking around. They are tasting everybody’s wines and they’re purchasing them. So, they like it,”
said one woman at the festival.
