REYNOLDSVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ)– A police department in Jefferson County is warning parents after a hook was found fastened to a playground slide.
The Reynoldsville Police Department is investigating a report of a hook found screwed into a slide at the Harry F. Kunselman Playground in the Community Park.
Police say a child did get caught on the hook, but wasn’t hurt.
There are cameras in the park and police will be reviewing footage to identify a suspect.
Police are reminding parents to check all playground equipment for anything unsafe before letting children play.
