HOMER CITY, INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Homer City resident is under investigation after items related methamphetamine manufacturing were found along a roadway in Buffington Township.
State Police responded to a call this afternoon at approximately 1:46 p.m. on Stuart Hollow Road after receiving information regarding the manufacture of methamphetamine in the area.
Upon arrival, the trooper responding conducted an area canvas and discovered a plastic bag along the roadside.
The bag was found to contain items related to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The State Police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team was notified, and the contraband was collected without incident.
Based on the evidence collected, a known adult male of Homer City, Pa. was identified as a suspect.
Charges are pending further investigation.
