During some strong thunderstorms Thursday, a home in Hollidaysburg near the Hometown Market on Jones Street was reportedly struck by lightning and caught fire.
Investigators are still looking into exactly how that fire started and spread.
Fortunately no one was home at the time, but there were several pets and now the family dog is missing
The lightning caused damage to the roof, attic, and back porch. There was also some minor damage to the second floor
.No word yet on whether the house is a total loss.
