(WTAJ) — The American Legion in Hollidaysburg hosted their parade this afternoon. 

The parade traveled from Allegheny Street through Montgomery Street in Downtown Hollidaysburg.

Before the ceremony ended, Post 516 honored gold star mother, Maryann Hook.

Hook’s son, Army Specialist Michael Hook was killed in 2007, in a black hawk helicopter crash in Iraq.
