A high speed police chase crossed county lines before coming to a crashing halt Friday night.
It started in Armaugh Township, Mifflin County when police tried to stop a man for speeding on a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle.
Officers said the driver took off, at times reaching speeds above 100 MPH.
At one point, the suspect crossed the center line in an attempt to avoid police in Potter Township, Centre County. That’s when investigators said the driver slammed into an SUV.
The driver of the motorcycle was flown to the hospital for serious injuries. The SUV driver has a minor injury.
At this time the case remains under investigation. It’s unclear what charges will be filed.
