CURWENSVILLE, CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WTAJ)– A hardware store in Clearfield County is expanding under a new name.

The True Value Store in Curwensville is now an Ace Hardware.

The locally-owned store opened in 1999.

With the new name, they’ve added new products, brands, tools and paint.

“We’re still a good hardware store, a nice local hardware store, where you come in and can ask a question on how to do something,” store owner Doreen Shaffer said. “Get some advice, get what you need, get back home and get to work.”

The grand reopening celebration is Friday through Sunday. The store will have deals and giveaways for customers.
