Fans of the musical Hamilton had a good reason to get excited Monday night.

Bryan Terrell Clark, best known for his role as George Washington in the Broadway show, was at Penn State Altoona tonight to talk to students.

He spoke about the importance of letting passion drive creativity.

He also emphisized that in life, the journey is more important than the destination.

“Great value comes from the pit stops in the journey when you find purpose,” said Clark.

In addition to his success on the stage, Clark is an accomplished musician, and the co-founder of a clothing brand that raises money for charities.
