A one of a kind event is helping local kids with special needs have a scary good time.
Next Tuesday, October 16, a special needs Halloween dance will be held at the Six Mile Run American Legion in Saxton.
The event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m. All ages are welcome and the night is completely free.
“It’s an event that is just for them,” Brenda Brumbaugh, the event coordinator said. “They don’t have to feel like they’re different. They don’t have to feel like they don’t fit in. Everything is completely geared towards them and making them happy for the evening.”
