Effective immediately, the Greenfield Township Board of Supervisors in Blair County, has issued a burning ban for the next 30 days.

This is due to the high risk of wildfires on the recommendation of the Fire Chief.  Recreational fires are permitted and cannot be left unattended.  Burning brush and burning in barrels is not allowed during the burn ban.
