A couple months ago an owl was found in our area, sick with the West Nile Virus.

Now, local shelter was able to release the Great Horned Owl after helping it make a full recovery.

The owl was released in the Port Matilda Cemetery Sunday night, which is where the owl was first found.

Centre Wildlife Care Facility helped bring the Great Horned Owl back to full health.
