A resort in Bedford is kicking off the holiday season.
Omni Bedford Springs Resort hosted its annual Grand Illumination on Sunday.
There was food, drinks and kids’ games. Plus, Santa paid a visit to read a Christmas story.
Resort officials said the Grand Illumination just keeps growing year after year and they love helping the community get in the holiday spirit.
“Bedford’s a phenomenal community and if it wasn’t for the entire community, Bedford Springs wouldn’t be what it is today,” said Bill Liedhold, the resort’s general manager. “It’s really our pleasure to have them all here today and this is a special day each year.”
The manager said the event is also great because it brings people from all over into Bedford and supports local vendors.
