Governor Tom Wolf along with John Fetterman and their wives were spending the day before the inauguration giving back.

They were joined by cabinet members, senior staff and about 150 volunteers, working on service projects across the midstate. The governor spent much of his day at Downtown Daily Bread in Harrisburg helping to clean the shelter.

“Actually, four years ago, I started my administration with a day of service,” said Governor Wolf. “And I’m ending that first four years with a day of service, and starting the next four years. So, I think it’s absolutely consistent. It reminds us what we’re here for. We’re serving the people of Pennsylvania.”

About 80 men visit Downtown Daily Bread’s shelter every day, with about 40 staying the night.
