Governor Wolf visited Temple University today to discuss opioids.
He met with the university’s school of medicine, team physicians and student athletes.
Their focus was on new recommendations for prescribing opioids in orthopedics and sports medicine. The guidelines are intended to help health care providers safely and effectively prescribe opioids, but not replace their own clinical judgment.
