Friday, Governor Tom Wolf announced a proposal, which would give $2.35 million to invent Penn State.
Invent Penn State is an entrepreneur program, offering technology and innovative opportunities for students and business.
If approved, the money would help Penn State start four new innovation hubs in under-served areas in the state.
The proposed funding must be approved by the Pennsylvania general assembly, as apart of their budget.
