Local golfer Jim Smith is golfing 100 consecutive holes to raise money for veterans and their children.
He began at around 6:30am Tuesday morning joined by three veterans. The event is raising money for the Folds of Honor Foundation that provides college scholarships to the children of disabled warriors in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
This is the 4th year for the event. The public is invited to come out to watch and support the veterans over at the Summit Country Club in Cresson.
