#GivingTuesday was deemed a success at Penn State DuBois.
#GivingTuesday at Penn State DuBois raised nearly $3,000 to support the DuBois Future Fund. Alumni, friends, staff, and faculty donated to the cause, as well as a $1,000 match from Chancellor M. Scott McBride that contributed to the total.
The Penn State DuBois Future Fund can be used to support the greatest needs of the campus. Gifts help to support emergency funding for students in crisis, student scholarships, career services and student internships, and more.
#GivingTuesday is an annual global day of giving that was held on November 27 this year. This initiative, founded in 2012, inspired millions of people to give back and support causes they believe in.
