The Wolf administration is fighting hunger in Pennsylvania, by making sure everyone has access to farmer’s markets.

Today, the state Secretary of Agriculture announced that residents who meet certain requirements will be given vouchers to shop at those markets for free.

Participants must be at least 60 years old by the end of this year, or have an income of less than $22,459 a year for one person, or $30,451 a year for a family of 2.

Vouchers for that program will be offered through the “Women, Infants, and Children” and “Senior Farmers Market Nutrition” programs.
