A 24-hour gaming marathon in Altoona is raising money for sick children.
It’s for the Extra Life charity, which benefits Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the country.
To participate, just pick a hospital and ask your friends or family to sponsor you, while you play video games, board games or table top games to help save kids’ lives.
“Everybody’s touched by illness. Especially when it comes to sick kids, nobody wants to see it. So we want to do our part and try to help them out,” said Joe Krug, one of the people hosting the marathon at the Altoona Grand Hotel.
