Fortune magazine named Sheetz one of the best places to work for the 5th time in 6 years.
The company also recently raised their starting wages for Pennsyvania stores.
Adam Sheetz, the Vice President of Store Operations, said they try to make their wages competitive, but that’s not the main reason their stores are successful.
“Ultimately, it’s not the wage that makes us stand out. I think what makes us stand out as an employeer is we offer full time hours which not everyone in our industry does. We offer what we think are wonderful benefits, and we try to create a good environment in every store,” Sheetz said.
The company currently has more than 1,00 positions open across multiple locations in Pennsylvania.
