Former District Attorney to be disbarred

The Pennsylvania State Supreme Court Disciplinary Board will disbar a former District Attorney

Bill Higgins can no longer practice law after he was arrested in April for using his power as the top criminal lawyer to help female drug dealers in exchange for sexual favors.

He pled guilty to all 31 counts in May as part of the deal which included no jail time. It will take effect on August 9.
