Flu shot clinics are being offered at multiple locations in Clearfield County.
Penn Highlands Community Nurses are offering flu shot clinics at all Centers for Active Living and at the Houtzdale Family Service Center.
People without medical insurance will be charged $40, and you are asked to bring your medical insurance card to the clinic.
The flu is a contagious disease that usually spreads in the U.S. between October and May.
Anyone can get the flu. Flu symptoms can include fevers, a sore throat, aching muscles, coughing, fatigue, headaches, and a runny or stuffy nose.
The flu can be extremely dangerous for infants and young children, people 65 years of age and older, pregnant women, and people with certain health conditions or a weakened immune system. If you have a medical condition, such as heart or lung disease, the flu can make it worse.

Mahaffey Center for Active Living Thursday, October 18, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Coalport Center for Active Living Thursday, October 18, 2018 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Kylertown Center for Active Living Friday, October 19, 2018 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Houtzdale Family Service Center Tuesday, October 30, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
