Firefighters were called to 10226 Beuchat Road in Guys Mills where they found heavy smoke coming from the single-wide mobile home.

Colette Neff of the Cochranton Fire Department tells us they noted there were no cars in the driveway and entered the trailer after learning that the family dog, Dixie, was trapped inside.  Dixie was found hiding under a bed and was removed from the structure. That’s what led to the happy reunion with the owners. 

No cause was immediately released and no injuries were reported.
