Today an Altoona firefighter made the best of a scary situation for some local children.

Two children were passengers in a four vehicle crash at the intersection of Logan Blvd. and Ward Ave. around 2:00 p.m. Thursday.

Fortunately no one was taken to the hospital because of that crash.

Photos were snapped of Justin Smithmyer with the Altoona Fire Department making snowmen with those children while the scene got cleaned up.
