A morning fire that destroyed an Elk County home has been ruled accidental.
Officials learned about the fire after someone driving down Cherry Road in Fox Township saw the fire and called 911. When emergency crews arrived, the home was fully engulfed.
No one was home at the time.
The Fire Marshall says an electrical issue sparked the fire causing $140,000 worth of damage.
