A festival in Cambria County will raise awareness and support for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
The Harvest of Hope Music & Arts Festival will take place in Johnstown on Saturday, October 7. The event will have live music, art vendors, and food. There will also be activities and classes, including yoga and dance.
The festival is hosted by Beginnings, Inc. and Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center. The festival will celebrate the end of the Johnstown Marathon and show support for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
“We also get the opportunity to see people that are working really hard through their recovery and we wanted to celebrate those efforts because that’s no easy task,” said Paula Eppley-Newman, the executive director of Beginnings Inc.
Tickets for the festival are still available. It runs from 12pm-10pm on Saturday, October 7 at Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center on 3rd Avenue in the Cambria City section of Johnstown.
