A Centre County family is homeless after a fire.
Those flames first broke out around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at a home on Mountain Spring Ln. in Spring Mills.
Six fire crews worked together to get that blaze under control.
The home was so badly damaged, that after crews got the fire knocked down to a managable size, they let the rest of the house burn down before putting it out.
No one was home at the time, and the family dog escaped safely.
The Red Cross is now helping that family find a place to stay.
The Fire Marshall is still working to determine how that fire got started.
