EVERETT, BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two people have been charged after a two-year-old was found with bruising on his face.
Shelby Hurlburt, 18, of Everett has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and her boyfriend, Zackary MacGregor, 20, of Everett has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
Through further investigation, police discovered that MacGregor struck the victim in the face multiple on multiple occasions. MacGregor also failed to supervise the child while at home and allowed him to leave the room and fall down the stairs, according to the police report.
Hurlburt allegedly was aware of the abuse and failed to report it or provide medical attention to the child.
