Ebensburg residents may not see a spike in real estate taxes or utility rates in 2018.
The Ebensburg Borough Council tentatively approved the 2018 budget of $5.6 million during Monday night’s meeting. That’s just over a one percent increase from 2017’s budget.
Borough officials said they plan to hire another full-time police officer and make repairs to the municipal building and storm water basins.
The council will officially adopt the budget during December’s meeting.
