The DuBois Area School District superintendent is on paid leave for an unknown period of time.
District solicitor Carl Beard said Superintendent Luke Lansberry was placed on paid leave as of January 3.
Assistant superintendent Wendy Benton will act as substitute superintendent in his place.
Beard would not comment on the nature of the leave– stating it’s a personnel matter.
He said more information may be made available next week.
