DUBOIS, Pa. (WTAJ) — A group of Dubois middle schoolers spent Friday morning learning how to fish.
Life skills and autism skills students cast their lines into the Tannery Dam in Dubois.
The Allegheny Mountain Chapter of Trout unlimited hosts the students each year.
A few even reeled in their own catch of the day.
“These kids when they catch a fish are so excited. They don’t really care what kind of fish they catch, it’s just the idea of catching a fish. A lot of them are just happy to be out,” said George Kutskel of Allegheny
Mountain Chapter Trout Unlimited.
This is the 6th year for the fishing outing.
