Downtown Johnstown is getting in the holiday spirit.
Workers are setting up the Christmas tree in Central Park this week. There are also festive green ribbons on the trees throughout the park.
There will be an official tree-lighting ceremony on Friday, November 16. It’s all part of the annual Hometown Holiday Parade and Light Up Night. There will be floats, bands and kids can even meet Santa.
The event kicks off at 2:30 p.m.
