ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) –The number of teens using Juuls, an alternative to cigarettes, is growing.

But are they actually a safer option?

Local lung specialist, Dr. George Zlupko, is inviting parents and teens to learn about the product and the effects of using them.

The event is at the Altoona Area Junior High School auditorium this Thursday at 6:00  p.m.

It is free and open for all to attend.
