October 30 is the last day for Pennsylvania voters to apply for absentee ballots.
The Pennsylvania Department of State recommends that voters submit their absentee ballot applications at least two weeks before the election. Completed absentee ballots must be received at the voter’s County Board of Elections no later than 5 p.m. Friday, November 2.
The Cambria County Republican Committee Headquarters, at 1222 Scalp Avenue in Johnstown, will be open extended hours to facilitate those who are qualified to vote by absentee ballot. The office will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week until Election Day. Volunteers will provide absentee ballot applications and other assistance to any and all registered voters, regardless of the voter’s party affiliation.
Those who are unable to come to the office can download and print an application at www.pavoterservices.pa.gov.
