The Force is strong in Curve PA!
This is the third summer that the Altoona Curve will be hosting a Star Wars night. Fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite character for Friday and Saturday’s games against the Erie Sea Wolves.
Tickets are still available for both nights, but they are going fast. The first 1,000 fans on Friday will get a special bobble head.
“Our first ever Star Wars bobble head is or mascot (Al Tuna) dressed in a robe with a lazer bat. It’s ‘Revenge of the Fish'” said Curve general manager Derek Martin.
On Saturday, former MLB player Jose Canseco will make an appearance for a home run derby. There will also be a Star Wars themed fireworks show on Saturday.
On Sunday it is Armed Forces Day, with a special fireworks show.
