UPDATE: After a battle that lasted more than 6 hours, a massive fire at a Somerset County barn is finally out.

Officials say they don’t know if the building is a total loss, but it suffered major damage.

Fortunately no one was hurt in that blaze and the owners got most of the animals out in time..
There’s no word yet on what caused that fire.

Multiple fire crews continue to battle a large barn fire in Somerset County.

Crews were called to Piedmont Road around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night.

As you can see here from the pictures, flames were shooting through the top of the roof.

We are told that no one was injured and that owners got most of the animals out.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
