Coroners and law enforcement attended the 16th Annual Law Enforcement Seminar, which took place at Pennsyvlania Highlands Community College on Friday.
Coroners and law enforcement learned about juvenile death investigations and the latest science and techniques used on scene.
“The toxicology and modern drug trends are constantly changing. It’s important for ourselves and law enforcement to know those trends so we know what to look for at the scenes,” said Joseph Hribar, the chief deputy coroner for Cambria County.
About 80 people attended the seminar, including coroners from 21 different offices across the state.
