PATTON, CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Prince Gallitzin State Park is holding a prescribed burn this week, and folks working at the park want neighbors to stay informed.
The park usually has a prescribed burn once every three years for environmental benefits, but the weather last spring caused them to delay to this year.
Folks at the park hope the burn will be either Wednesday or Thursday this week.
Officials said if you see smoke on those days, don’t be alarmed.
