One man is dead after a drilling accident in Cambria County Thursday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the scene along Adams Avenue in Jackson Twp. just before 8:30 a.m.
The Cambria County coroner has confirmed the victim is a male in this 20’s from Scenery Hill, Washington County.
The victim was working for a drilling company when the drill auger swung around causing the deadly injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for later this afternoon.
No other injuries have been reported.
Cambria County Police and OSHA are continuing to investigate.
