A Clearfield County community will not be joining a regional police force.
Houtzdale borough council voted against joining the Bigler Township regional police force.
Council held a public meeting in February for public feedback.
Council members say that was enough to reach a decision to not join.
That community police force will still patrol Bigler Township and Ramey Borough.
