More than 40 people gathered in front of the Centre County Courthouse for the National Day of Prayer.
This year’s theme is “For your name’s sake”. People who attended this event say it gives them a chance to pray for the nation, government leaders, and the military.
“There is hope sometimes you look and see what’s going on in the world and sometimes it can seem hopeless, but we know that God is the one that can bring healing and hope to all of us,” Freedom Life Church Pastor Eric Gerber said.
The courthouse event was one of four opportunities put on by the Christian business Men’s Connection.
