Community comes together to honor Chase Anderson

A community came together Sunday night to honor Chase Anderson.

Anderson hasn’t been seen or heard from for more than three weeks now.

Dozens came out for a candlelight vigil for the missing 19-year-old. Many closest to him say he was full of life and would love to see all the people gathering to support him.

“We’re trying to remember him from all the good times we have,” Natalee Dennis, a friend of Anderson, said. “All the smiles, all the laughs, everything,”

“Everything we’re doing here is for him,” Jonathan McCreadie, another friend of Anderson, said. “He’s such a great guy and puts a smile on the face of everyone.”

There was also a bake sale. All money raised goes to help the Anderson family.

Last week, police found human remains in the woods behind a home on Walker Road in Pike Township.

Officers were searching for Anderson in nearly the same area. However, there is still no official connection between the search for Anderson and the homicide investigation.

State police are still waiting and won’t identify the body until they are positive of who it is.
