The advocate supervisor with Cambria-Somerset CASA, Tyler Smay, said everybosy can make a difference.

“You don’t have to be trained as a CASA volunteer or social worker or case worker or a mandated reporter or anything. It can be anybody in any role in the community that can see something, speak up and make a difference for any kid and make a difference for just one is still a difference,” he said.

Events will be going on in the county all month long to bring attention to child abuse prevention.
