CURWENSVILLE, CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Have you ever thought about starting a garden?
Come out to Blue Kow in Curwensville for a free gardening workshop.
This event is intended to educate and inspire local community members about gardening in a fun environment and to bring like-minded people together to talk about growing food and health.
Many different topics will be covered such as raised bed planting, planting in pots, transplanting vs. growing food from seeds, companion planting, bee pollination, and beekeeping & a kids planting workshop, nutrition advice and much more.
This will be provided in collaboration with Hickory Ridge Natural Harvest, CSA from Irvona, PA and with other local farming friends.
Donations for the Irvin Park Inclusive Playground project will also be accepted at the event.
