STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention invites you to attend the Centre County out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday, April 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sidney Friedman Park in State College. 

When you join the walk you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the foundation to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for the public policy and support survivors of suicide loss. 

Thanks to walkers and donors like you. AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate by 20 percent by 2025.
