JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Sandyvale Memorial Gardens in Johnstown invites you to come and honor our veterans at their annual Memorial Day Celebration on Monday, May 27 at 10:00 a.m. at their Hickory Street location in the Hornerstown section of the city.
The annual ceremony honoring veterans of all conflicts will have a special pinning ceremony for all attending veterans and will be commemorating the 130th anniversary of the Johnstown flood along with a few other events.
Following the ceremony, there will be music on the greenhouse patio, military exhibits, food provided by Raynes Backyard BBQ, inflatable children’s games and much more.
The event is free and open to the public through various sponsorships.
