BECCARIA TOWNSHIP, CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Clearfield Police say a Coalport man led them on a high-speed chase that lasted between five and seven miles yesterday.
Police say the man began the chase after fleeing from Clearfield Police during a traffic stop.
The man surrendered on his own and was arrested.
Police have not yet released the identity of the man. Police also say the man was driving recklessly and carelessly.
The man will be charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and multiple traffic violations are pending.
