JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Clearfield County man is behind bars for possession of child pornography.

A federal judge in Johnstown sentenced 46-year-old Ellis Passmore, Jr. to four years and six months in prison on Wednesday. He will be on probation for 10 years following his sentence.

According to information presented in court, the FBI received a lead about a person in Washington who took photos of at least three children as she sexually molested them and sent them to Passmore, Jr.’s email address.

On October 5, 2015, the FBI talked to Passmore, Jr. at his home and he admitted to viewing child pornography on his computer.

A search warrant of his electronics found 1,182 videos showing sexual exploitation of children.
