One event this weekend in Clearfield County lets you drink wine all while raising money for education.

Saturday is the first ever Coalport Winter Winefest Warmup.

Four wineries and eight vendors will be set up in the Glendale Fire Hall. There will also be basket raffles, food and music.

Tickets are $15 before the event and $20 at the door. All proceeds go to the Glendale Education Foundation.

“We’re a nonprofit so everything goes to the school, so it’s a great thing for everyone in this community and it shows so much support for the kids to help them reach their goals,” Jessica Radcliffe from the Glendale Education Association said.

The foundation provides scholarships and opportunities to students in the Glendale School District.
