Charges were filed against a man accused of hitting and injuring a state trooper during a chase last month.
Troopers say on May 27th, they encountered Jeff Davis off Route 30 in Bedford Township.
When police approached, Davis allegedly drove off and hit a trooper that got out of his cruiser.
Police say that’s when shots were fired at the suspect.
The man crashed into a sign and was taken to the hospital but has since been released.
The trooper was also injured and is still recovering.
